Astarion - chaotic evil with the potential to become chaotic neutral or even chaotic good.
Lae'zel - lawful evil with the potential to become lawful neutral or even lawful good.
Minthara - neutral evil no matter what.
Confirmed; vampire thralls are truly evil and the best relationship partners for an evil person. Especially if they ascend and become a true vampire lord.
So can I romance Minthara and have Astarion as a side romance? 🌚
Unfortunately, i dont think either is okay with that lol. Astarion is most likely fine with it UP UNTIL he ascends. Then he says you are his, and nobody else can have you. Minthara doesnt like to share either.
Good ending Laezel literally wants to sit by the sunrise and talk about the beauty of the world, what do you mean Minthara is soft?
Too soft? She's still Minthara, she's still ruthless as fuck. Just that she is also fiercely loyal towards those she trusts. If we're using Minthara as a yardstick then Lae'zel definitely also goes soft towards the end of the game.
Anyway if you ask me just in terms of how much content you get out of each, I think Lae'zel offers more. But Minthara is totally on board with you seizing your unholy inheritance and wants to rule the world with you, which is extremely on-theme for a full evil run.
She goes soft if she rebels, but you can romance her until A3 if she stayed with Vlaakith
Minthara doesn't get any less evil in her arc. She softens toward Tav as her approval goes up but she is still super evil in her outlook and her approvals. If you play resist Durge, she will disapprove of you not becoming chosen. If Astarion doesn't ascend she'll disapprove, whereas Lae'zel will disapprove if he does, etc. Just my take.
The not chosen disapproval is a bug they fixed in one of the more recent patches
So Minthara is cool with it now? Huh. Weird, it seemed in character to me but I'm not the writers so cool. 🤷
Now it depends on your arc and her approval I believe, e.g. if you're all in on blood then randomly turn away from it or have low approval she still says WTF but if you've been on redemption arc and have her approval she approves of telling gods to fuck off. A big part of her approval arc involves reflecting on llolth/absolute/shar follower exploitation so if you've had those conversations it's pretty insane for her to disapprove of you shedding the yoke as she did
That makes a lot of sense, thank you. The last time I did it, she was annoyed and I'd been on one of those fake resist arcs where I resisted the urge but was murdering a lot of random npcs, so maybe she didn't see how murdery I was!
Is this your art? What's the source?

??????????????? Minthara????? Too soft????? She literally gets a hard on when you tell her about you being Bhaalspawn. What the fuck do you mean she's too soft for a murderous psychopath? She is a murderous psychopath herself! No, Minthara loves you and she's soft only to you. But she definitely is still evil and will not be squeamish about a little murder, as long as you learn to control yourself. If you cannot control yourself, she will kill you, despite her love for you.
I have romanced Lae’zel in a Goody-two-shoes run and she fits that perfectly.
Lae’zel, as a character, is even against fights that can be avoided. Let alone going on barbaric murder sprees. For her fighting is just an instrument of survival. If you are into needless murder sprees, for her you are someone without discipline who is dulling their blade (she says something similar to DUrge after Alfira’s murder).
And while Lae’zel enjoys some battle challenges and employs intimidation tactics that make her look tough and menacing, in reality she is a kind and very romantic woman.
I don’t know enough about Minthara. I am romancing her in my current playthrough but I am in the Rosalyn Monastery at the moment. I.e. all I’ve done with her so far is taking over the Grove and massacring its inhabitants (well, and partied with her).
Minthara because dark elves >>>>>>>> space goblins

Lae’zel is very strictly monogamous. She doesn’t share.
Minthara is very murderously monogamous. She doesn't share.
Well let tohse two bang each other and go for Karlach, unles she been ttake by Shadowheart. I this case well... take Gale i gues?
You were just a rebound till gale got back with his ex.
Just tell Minthara whoever you want to kill is a refugee but also refuses to put in the hours doing slavery. Easy as
Minthara talks about poisoning your food to help you build up a resistance for when you visit menzoberranzan or something.
As well as something of assasinating you in your sleep for training (the 2nd one mightve just been a dream i had though)
This art is awesome! Is this your work?

Why not both?
Am I the only one who can't get over the fact that lae'zel is holding a sword with a left hand but it's coming out of her right arm?
Dapends if you want hard sex or a blowjob
In my dark urge run I had Minthara, ascended Astarion and Lae'zel and I always got the feeling that Lae'zel was trying to blink "please save me from these murderous psychopaths" in morse code.
I need this exact relationship dynamic so got dang bad
Withers.
I feel like it’s a choice between laezel, who loves tav for tav and minthara who really believes in the best possible version of tav.

If you kill the thiefling camp and smash minthara, laezal is usually down for play the second she leaves for moonrise. So I always do both on my evil runs.
Minthara too soft?! BRUH
Lae'zel is a kitten next to Minthara. Lae'Zel may be a brutal warrior but she leans towards the quickest straightforward decisions but not evil. But Minthara? That shit is baked into her very being, 9/10 times she is choosing the evil option and is very pragmatic about it, she will present the option and provide a scarily nuanced take about why it would work even if it's despicable.
Minthara all the way.
And who would fit a full dark urge run?
Karlach. She can fix you.
Minthara romance requires attacking the grove. Which will kill Halsin, Wyll, Damon, the kids, Alfira and other quest NPC or shops.
So it's more about whether you want to do an evil playthrough or not.
Minthara romance requires attacking the grove.
Not anymore, just knock her out in Act 1, kill the other leaders, then romance her in Act 2/3. You can get to ~20 approval before the Ketheric battle and >30 after his defeat to trigger the romance conversation. You do lose out on the one sex scene she has though.
If you do you miss more than half her romance exclusive dialogue. She has very little content.
Asides from the sex dialogue, I feel like she still has enough content to make the romance enjoyable in Act 3 for a good Durge that didn't raid the grove. Certainly she doesn't have as much content as the other romance-able companions, but I still enjoy it. You can still do the circus romance with her and the kissing update gave her some short lines that I very much enjoy doing every now and then.
Already happily murdered them all 🤗
Minthara? Too soft? My man, she is the most pragmatically evil person out of bunch. When asked what she would have The Baldur's Mouth write if she was in control, she says she'd sow paranoia and distrust among people so that they could only trust her and revere her. When the topic goes to how she would never be perceived as hero even if the gang defeated elder brain because she's a drow and you tell her that people's opinions don't matter, she goes "Precisely. Who needs adoration when we will rule with fear" or something along the lines. I love her so much.
But if we're talking murderous psychopath then both Lae and Minthara disrespect you like rabid dog that can't control itself if you tell them of your urges. I think only Astarion is completely bonkers chaotic evil and revels in senseless massacre.
