BMW S1000RR owners

Hey guys. Whom of you bought the s1000RR as beginner bike? I would like to hear your story. I already have 6 months of experience. So thinking about it. Let me hear.

Delete if not allowed. I have a Motorad-1 lowering link kit I’m trying to get rid of. This replaces the oem deflection lever with a billet aluminum lever and billet lowering link. I believe it is a 2” drop kit, I can send pics to whoever is interested. It is currently still on the bike and will be switching to oem soon. The kit retails for $700 and I’m only looking for $450 shipped.

I've bought a 2020 s1000rr K67 and I need to get max power on this beast. Is there any way to get that through race modes. I can see that race mode is enabled in settings and road, rain and dynamic modes are gone. But I'm confused.

Hi all, I purchased a 2012 S1000rr a couple months back and it’s been outstanding. However I’ve noticed it is super inconsistent with when it will actually quick shift. It does have a quick shifter. Occasionally it will bounce off a gear and come right back into the previous. It’ll happen in any gear above first (I clutch in to go to second) It’ll happen at various rpm’s, whether I’m rolling off throttle or keeping it pinned. I apply a lot of pressure to shift up so I don’t think it just needs a little more force. Just looking for a bit of insight as to why this could be happening. Thanks

I am trying to find a website or brand of after market parts that makes high quality parts for the 2024 BMW S1000RR Specifically. I have seen some but I wonder if there is one or 2 that cloud the others in the sense of quality or if they Specifically or only make parts for bmw

I recently bought a 16 1krr and am still getting used to the technology this bike has. One thing that occurs is a missed shift from 1 to 2. I’m not sure if it’s my lack of experience with this feature or if the clutch needs attention. The crunch that happens after the miss is unnerving and I need to know if anyone else had the same issue.

Hey yall I’m approved for 24k through Navy Fed. (Please I don’t want to hear crap about borrowing, my rate is good and so is my credit). My dream bike is a S1000RR. Problem is I don’t know enough about the base model to know if it’s a good decision. Base is the only one in my price range as the passion and the M Package obviously are well above 24k. Can someone tell me their experience or knowledge? My other bike options I have picked out right now are a Kawasaki ZH2 and a Ducati Streetfighter V2.

I know those options are both in the hyper naked category, but I’m willing to stick to sport bikes for the s1000RR.

Also all the BMW dealers are 2 hours + away from me so how is longer term riding on it?
