I have autism, please speak softly
100%
I have three settings and all of them are off
What do the settings do? What happens if I enable them?
I think I just die
That's a risk i'm willing to take.
NO - I get it, we have buttons that should NEVER be pressed.
The time has come,' the Walrus said,
To talk of many things:
Of shoes — and ships — and sealing-wax —
Of cabbages — and kings —
And why the sea is boiling hot —
And whether pigs have wings.'
God, I love that movie.
Same tho (and I’m 32) 😭
I am an older autistic mom with two teenage autistic sons.
I think all of us have the tiny baby oyster inside us. When you yell at us, we bleed. The noise of yelling overwhelms us. The feeling of being yelled at crushes our spirits.
One need not be tiny, young, or cute to deserve compassion and consideration.
I don't get it. Should I be offended? I'm confused.
I think OP is just sharing their view or experience.
It is. I didn’t mean it in offense to anyone
Thank you for clarifying. If we're talking about preferences, personally, I like to think of myself as something more imposing yet humble. Can't really think of anything offhand, but that's my preference
This is the first time I see a clammed up Toad
We don’t “have” autism. We ARE autistic. A neurological birth difference, not a disease.
An autistic person can say whichever of these things that they prefer.
As a young woman with autism, I agree. I am angel baby princess and will always do the right thing when I know what the right thing is...
Same - my mom nicknamed me “Angel” partly for that reason (and because I’m a bit of a people-pleaser lol)
why is it cute lol
Now i want to yell at you. That thing is ugly
That’s terrifying
Is that the oyster from Alice in wonderland?
