My dog's name is Luna. When I first adopted her, I spent days trying to find the perfect name. One night, we were in the backyard, and she stared up at the bright, full moon, completely mesmerized. It was a magical moment, and I realized she was like a little light in my life, just like the moon. So, I named her Luna, and she seemed to instantly recognize it as her name.
I have 2 pets: a dog n a cat. my cat's name's Regina and I named her after Regina Mills (once upon a time). beside the fact that she's my favorite character ever, I chose this name also because my cat is black and white (light and darkness) and Regina Mills is evil at the beginning, but becomes good at the end. it felt poetic at the time.
my dog's name's Romeo, like Romeo and Juliet. basically my dad's gf had a pigeon pet 😭 n we named Juliet, but we didn't have Romeo. then my dog came along n we named him Romeo lmao
I had a cat named Arya that lived 11 years. Her name was derived from the TV Show (and books) Game of Thrones that had recently started airing on HBO. We also considered naming her Sansa (Arya's sister) at the time, but retrospectively the name Arya really suited her as she ended up being a very feisty beast!
