Having to be in the house at a certain time to see a show otherwise you’d just miss it and have to wait weeks or months to see a repeat of the one you missed. No internet means chances are you never saw that episode you missed until streaming became a thing or renting it at a block buster or Hollywood video.
If you wanted to listen to music you had to either wait for the radio to play what you wanted to hear or have the cd. If the cd was scratched well then tough luck man. Also box tvs, and people used to be friends with their neighbors. Now everything is stranger danger.
7am Saturday morning. Get up and watch cartoons for 2 hours. 9am news comes on and kids are kicked out of the house. You don't have to go anywhere specific, but get the fuck out. Street lights come on and it's time to come home.
