Absolutely true. I visit my aunt who lives in Switzerland frequently and damn. I cannot get enough of that lake view with the mountains in the distance. I seriously consider emigrating to Switzerland just for the landscape.
I would think China, because of how large it is, thus lots of diverse scenery, and so much of it is still (what's the word here) undeveloped into crowded, smoggy cities?
You should visit other countries outside of US. If you're talking about scenic beauty reference to needles , injections, zombie addicts on each corner then yes, US tops that. Americans are glued to their own country and totally blind for any other country except US.
Literally any country. It’s whatever someone chooses to highlight in the photos. Like you could go to new york city and take pictures of the unique architecture or of the homeless and create a completely POV of NYC. (Not a country ik, just an example)
India has beaches, tropics, deserts, glaciers that are beautiful, but people choose to photograph poor people instead. Same thing with many central African countries. They are all photogenic.
But to give you a simple answer, either Japan or Switzerland tied for first place, USA and Greece tied for second place
Whilst every other country has some percentage of rotting architecture, the proud country of Vatican City State is a rich, well maintained open air museum. 100 % photogenic.
