just finished season 2 (so far only season I've finished) and i love the performances, the atmosphere but dear Lord i wish they'd just focus in on a damn plotline. like kit's story apart from being framed was so unnecessary. he is also the only character who is too upstanding especially for a show like this.
i figured that the aliens were god but not necessarily Kit as Jesus. i'm not really sure what characteristics of his character (other than his kindness i guess) that would point us to him being jesus. i guess he's like the chosen one? but that idea is very unexplored and other than people saying it isn't really supported by the text (show)
What seasons didn’t you finish?
i'm halfway through murder house but was looking into the themes of each season of ahs and i was curious about asylum. think i'm gonna start (and potentially finish) coven then watch roanoke
Just don’t watch Apocalypse until you finish Murder House and Asylum you should probably watch Hotel beforehand too

Favorites seasons are Roanoke, Murder House, Apocalypse, Coven, and Cult. Hotel has some of the best characters of the show though.

Like that's the role he plays in the story, he's the messianic figure to counterbalance the demon possession stuff.
