I love collecting exclusively 1 scale, because it means I can do goofy stuff like pose Captain Fordo, a Spartan, and a Space Marine together dual wielding pistols. 3 franchises that will never interact, all brought together on one shelf. Do y'all also try to maintain a single scale?

Who makes that Snake figure? Revoltech?

Thanks! Nice setup!
I've been meaning to pose Naruto driving the VAMP but I got lazy.
I love crossover stuff so I definitely try to stick to 1/12 scale (and occasionally 1/10).
Nothing like having The Crow and Robocop posed together on my desk
This is the entire reason I do not buy any of the McFarlane DC figures.
Yeah, I've gotten a few, and I'm sad it doesn't scale with my other stuff. It's the only time I've been really tempted to get any of the imports.
It’s not too noticeable depending how you pose them imo. Like scarlet spider using his well defined musculature on Terry McGinnis Batman. And the regular pose I have for them is just Terry standing and scarlet spider in a web shooting crouch pose so u really can’t tell. If you have flight stands too for any flying characters, makes easier to hide I’d imagine
Ironic that you say that considering that 40k figure is Mcfarlane 7in. scale.
Some characters work in either size.
Same with Marvel Select and Marvel Legends.
I'm a 1:12 collector myself. Only go out of scale for figures I can work in. 1:18 is tempting though.
Started picking up 1:18 since it is such a classic size for Star Wars and makes it easier to do dioramas, vehicles, etc. Highly recommend. Still have my favorite 1:12 and with X-Men 97 I can't help but want to build out that team.
I could collect like 4 times as many figures if i went smaller but something about 1/12 just feels perfect.
goofy stuff = fun. putting smaller scale figures on "air/flying" poses sometime works too
Most of my stuff is 6 inches bit there's a few outliers. Recently got the 4 inch botw Link from Jakks, he looks great because he's about half the height of any npc in game so having him be almost half the height of other toys works.
I keep McFarlane separate except for Smiling Superman, he's playing basketball currently with the xmen. The marvel select Hulk is on the main marvel shelf, having a hulking hulk is fine.
Yup. I've tried a few different scales, but I've settled on 1/12. I like that I can just plop anything in with anything and no matter how wrong it looks it still kinda works.
I was. Started with 7 inch and didn't want 6 because they wouldn't scale.. but there was some cool 6 inch stuff that I was missing out on. So I do collect both. One wall is 7 inch and on the opposite side of the room is the 6 inch. I don't mix the scales, but I do cross over figures in the same scale. I like action figures haha.
Yes The majority of my collection is 6 inch figs (and also transformers....but that's a whole different discussion on scale) so it's mostly comprised of marvel legends, DCUC, g I joe, and fortnite (don't play the game, but love the figs)
And, yes, there's quite a bit of crossover action happening on my shelves
Nothing like seeing rank after rank of cobra bats, and for some reason there's also a giant banana kicking ass
Or the punisher mowing down arashikage ninjas....or trying to anyway
I also got a couple of the McFarlane space marines with the intention of making a cusyom punisher in war machine armor
I collect mainly 1/12 but have some, 1/114, 1/10 and 1/6
Yes ! Being a super hero fan I must admit that DC is kinda Bothering with the 1/12 figures, at least I can comfort myself with 4 inches figures
The majority of my collection is 1/18. I usually keep my larger sets together but I always have a few shelves that are combinations of different lines. *
I mostly stick to 1/18 because it's much easier to make space for a city of 3 inch tall people instead of 6 inch ones. Also 3 inch has more "randoms" like the weird Kenner retros so I can stock my scenes with citizens.
I do have a shelf for 6 inch figs though. Mostly Predators and a few spidermen, and a bunch of those neat jazwares pokemon figs
Im a staunch 1:12 collector for the exact reasons you mentioned
I will make exceptions for 1:18 with lines like World of Halo and The Hammond Collection
Just wondering, is that Spartan a custom? Hadn't seen Jun's helmet like that on a Mk 7 before, looks great!
I primarily focus on 1:18, for very much the same reasons you described lol.
Absolutely
"3 franchises that will never interact"
all we need is for Fortnite to get a 40k collab for this to not be true... 😂
Not really, because I typically collect a few lines that are different scales, so I just mix and match lol. I do like your idea though and it’s pretty cool to have them together like that.
I just collect what I like now. But have a variety of figures in each scale. Always fun to do this!
Purple Spartan goes crazy

You did a great job
This is a pretty big reason why I try to collect figures of everything I like. So I can do cool stuff like this.
Yes i love having a super team of my favorite guys.
Nowadays - same! Crossovers are priceless.
Yes.
God dammit I wish DC would do 1:12 scale.
I don’t care about scale, if there’s a figure that looks good I get it.
Why limit myself? Also, I find that collecting a similar scale tends to bring out my completionism, which makes me spend more.
Exactly, good toys are good toys, no reason to limit yourself and missing out the good stuff.
I’m always a 6” scale and rarely 7” scale collector
