I know they say to dream big, but calm down there
Most of my dreams are really normal stuff. Like scrolling through text while laying in bed.
Same, and when I'm about to wake up my dream self makes super weird frustrating mistakes like constantly mistyping a word
My dreams are incredibly unhinged. I still can't lucid dream despite the non-stop whackiness, half my brain is shitposting loudly and the other half is like "seems plausible, continue".
Same, but NOTHING compares to the nightmares I had from duloxetine (cymbalta) withdrawal. The two times I didn't have my meds (one because the pharmacy was out and then I didn't go back because fun depression time and one because I was discontinuing the medication) I had weird ass nightmares.
In the first, I was in my grandmother's house in bed while my grandfather's corpse was seated in an armchair across the room. Even more disturbingly, my dad called me and warned me to be careful because he believed someone was coming to steal my grandfather's corpse and possibly my dog.
In the second, my dad decided to get a horse, and just put it in the dining room. The horse was somehow injured, and my dad decided he had to put the horse down... By LIGHTING IT ON FIRE AND BURNING IT TO DEATH. The poor damn horse was running around and VERY angry and I was trying not to get trampled, and then we had to escape because the house was burning down.
I had no withdrawal symptoms other than the nightmares. It was weird.
As a kid, i had a dream of playing fnaf 3. The only problem was that this was like a solid 3 or 4 months before it was even announced.
I know for a fact that it was fnaf 3 bc it had all of the specific stuff, and it was concerningly vivid. There was that freddy mannequin thing on the left side, the generally musty yellow color theme, the big glass window in front of youand i saw a couple phantom jumpscares, but not springtrap. It was jarringly normal-ish.
Anyways that’s my childhood prophetic dream about fnaf 3, hope you have a lovely day
You also get propethic dreams?
That was the most vivid one, no other major ones that i can remember. I did see my dead grandfather as a kid though
Once every once in a while I'd get these deja vu dreams. Nothing important or specific. Just things like me wearing a sweater id buy years later, or playing a video game in surprising amounts of detail that I didn't even know existed. You never realise when it's one of those dreams until the day it happens and you remember the dream.
I hope I don't sound insane.
You’re not insane, I’ve had those before. Some of them hit you viscerally hard when you realize it too, right?
Hell, i had a loop of like three different times I was in the exact same deja vu situation. Same place, people I was talking to, conversation, everything.
Yeah! Exactly like that! It's a really weird feeling when you suddenly remember.
We found them, the person who actually does dream about using their phone
That's such a nothing dream and post. I love it.
Did the sky change accordingly?
No. It stayed the same
I had a dream last night that I was changing the clock on my microwave. I wanted to change the time to 7:47pm. I instead mistyped and changed the clock to 4:47 am.
Next week's dream post is on >! Dream of a Dragon Ball Epsiode where a Android Goku and Android Vegeta participated in the Olympics !<
If you can’t tell, the person who made the post is the same person who posted it to Reddit.
They are just trying to get more people to look at what they post by posting it elsewhere as well.
The other day I litterally looked at a building I l’ve only seen in my dreams and I took note of it and still didn’t realize i was asleep. 😭
Did you look at the person who posted the original, and who posted to Reddit?
It will all make sense then.
I can see that, it’s still boring and I feel like they can recognise it
Yes it is boring. Because, they don’t actually care about showing anything interesting. They just want to show you content that they made. Even though it’s shit.
How very self centred
I can have the weirdest shit in my dreams, yet I never question it. At the same time i am not fully immersed in the dreams. Its like im watching a movie with a vr headset. So the stuff that affects my dream avatar never affects me when waking.
Like my dream self can be screaming in fright and I wake up mid-scream calm as can be like I wasnt even dreaming.
I once dreamt the entire movie Avatar 2, despite never having seen it. Of course it was all wrong, and they ran out of budget at the end, i vividly remember Jake Sully as a cardboard cutout animated by a guy moving it behind buttering a giant pan for some reason to save its love interest that had fallen into a crevasse
Most of my dreams involve me either running away from or failing to run away from and subsequently being murdered by whichever monster my subconscious has decided would be funny to summon that night.
The most recent one looked like a diplodocus but covered in lots of massive eyes (except on its head, where there were none) that would sing the words "SILENT NIGHTMARE" over and over again (somehow it sung in all caps). It also had human teeth but like scaled up, which I only know because at the end of the dream it used them to tear me in half.
Basically I just appeared in a very big underground room where the only light was from something that flickered like a candle behind me, the monster was in front of me (though I could barely see it) and a small book was at my feet. I had to read from the book to prevent it from killing me, in the end I made one too many mistakes and after a very long second of complete silence as it stoped singing, it killed me.
this is truly one of the posts of all time
